Art is the lie that makes us realize truth

I have been looking at art all day to incorporate into my writing classes this fall. I've always loved this Picasso painting because it's such a simple picture but says so much. It's also one that is relatable. The colors are also lively juxtaposed against the simple black and white hands.

All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up. 

(This seems to happen somewhere around the time a child enters school...hmmmm)
