Snack Tip from Heidi Klum

This summer I joined the Heidi Klum running challenge because 1) I was running anyway and 2) it was fun to compare my running habits to a supermodel's. On her site she lists her go-to snacks, which I agree with so here they are (see her site here):

Packed with protein, fiber, calcium, magnesium, potassium, vitamin E and other antioxidants, there is very little that this nut doesn't do. Throw them in a salad or eat them on their own.

When the doctor said, "An apple a day," he wasn't kidding. Apples are packed with great things for your body including phloridzin that can help increase bone density, and pectin that can lower cholesterol.
