Regardless of your politician inclinations, it's always interesting to see how a big event like the Republican National Convention gets put together. From a whole school having to blow up the 120,000 balloons they're going to drop on closing night to the around-the-clock city workers assembling the fences that will essentially cage in the delegates, it's been quite exciting to live right across from the convention.
We're essentially stuck in our house for the next week since there is only one bridge that'll be open to let us off the island. I can't complain though since this is pretty cool...let's hope the hurricane doesn't make things worse!
