One Direction

We have some very exciting news and a new direction on this site, which I believe was always meant to go this way. While there will still be content on fashion, food, and art, we are also going to be writing about giving and volunteering through our non-profit Silver Phrase, which you can check out here.

This site's, and our non-profit's, mission is to learn and be inspired. Having empathy, giving back, seeking beauty and finding purpose should start at a young age. Through the years I want to inspire my daughters to do just that, as they have unknowingly done for me.

Now to the logistics.

Our first order of business is to research. There are some great women and children charities out there. Soon I'll have a list of all the one's to which we will donate. If you have a recommendation, please email!

Then it's choosing all the volunteer opportunities throughout the rest of the year I'd like to do with my daughters. Making art and selling it online and at local festivals, volunteering at women's and children's shelters, and donating to the guardian ad litem program, which we've already done, are just a few that are most important right now.
