Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th has been shaping up to be a weird one already. We woke up this morning to helicopters flying over our place. While that's not that unusual, it was persistent. We turned on the news to find out our island was barricaded with no one able to get on or off for two hours.

Apparently someone had robbed the only bank on the island, and the police and marines were on the scene within minutes to search every car and to watch the waters surrounding us. It was quite crazy in the downtown area this morning, and when returning from dropping off my daughter there were police walking throughout our building looking for the armed robber.

They still haven't found him, and so that's yet another excuse as to why I can't work out!!
