On a side note I have a personal story for all these writers. We used to live across Fitzgerald's childhood home in St. Paul, Minnesota...
We lived in St. Petersburg, FL where Kerouac died...
And we own a painting by Ralph Steadman, who was a personal friend of Thompson's.
